GUIDED GROUP TRAININGS AT THE STUDENT RESIDENCE LJUBLJANA
The Student Residence Ljubljana (ŠDL) offers its residents affordable and expertly led sports training sessions. The purpose of such trainings and sports events is to improve the quality of life of our students. The price of the trainings if you apply for one month is €2.50 a session; if you go to individual sessions, the price is €3 a session. You can register for a training session via the MyStudent application and the training fee will be included in your payment order for accommodation.
All you have to do is select the type of training that is right for you and come join us.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DIFFERENT SESSIONS ON OFFER
ZUMBA
Zumba is fun dance fitness training whose Latin American rhythms fill you with energy. This workout combines low- and high-intensity intervals. Interval training increases the burning of calories and thus helps eradicate fat. Special emphasis is placed on the muscle groups of the legs, buttock, arms and belly. Prior knowledge is not required and you don’t have to find yourself a dance partner! Just come and join this entertaining workout to the rhythm of Latin American pulses.
FIT TRAINING
Fit training aims to shape our body, help us with burning fat, improve our overall physical fitness and develop our basic motor abilities. It typically consists of circuit training or station training. This type of training helps to easily adjust workouts to our individual needs. The training is suitable for beginners and also for medium- and highly-trained recreational athletes.
AERO-FIT TRAINING
AERO-FIT training is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. This workout helps us shape our whole body, with an emphasis on the belly, legs and buttock. As the exercises mainly require the use of our own body weight and several repetitions, our muscles become stronger and shaped in a natural way. The training is divided into three sets:
1. Warming-up at an intensifying pace.
2. Central part: shaping of the body using one’s own weight or different light accessories. For an optimal effect, high-intensity/cardio exercises are incorporated into the muscle strengthening protocol.
3. Stretching for greater flexibility; relaxation and breathing exercises.
BURN
BURN training not only shapes our body, but helps us increase (improve) our capability in everyday life, in our daily running around.
WHY BURN?

Combing high intensity with interval training results in EPOC, which speeds your metabolic sytem, boost it for up to 48 hours after a complete BURN routine. This means you’ll still be burning fat even after you’ve left the gym.
