On Tuesday, March 4 2014, Študentski dom Ljubljana hosted the traditional carnival which the Council of Student Residents organizes every year.
Some inventive masks completely transformed the cold, grey and dry Tuesday and created a festive atmosphere. In individual dormitories the residents organized and presented group creations. A vivacious afternoon preponderated into an evening concert under a huge tent on the ŠDL football field. The Council of Student Residents under the leadership of Miha Luzar took care of everything – presentation of the masks, food, drink, music, good atmosphere and order.
Many participants of the event, residents and other visitors – there were almost 3,000 – could remember this carnival for its imagination, good organization and pleasant atmosphere. In the following days the trees in the parks around the dormitories started to bloom. It was spring.
